Robert Vaillancourt grew up in beautiful Quebec City. In his father’s restaurant, under the mentorship of professional chefs, Robert received his first culinary training. Professional ventures in Europe, North Africa and the USA, exposed him to a myriad of cultures. Since 1978 Robert has made British Columbia his permanent home.
In 1998, his love for food and people led him to study at the Starkey International School of Household Management in Denver, Colorado. There, while training in household and estate management, he learned to perfect the art of marrying Fine Dining Service with the expertise of a Private Chef.
As an Executive Chef, Robert has extensive experience in kitchen management, catering, menu planning, and special diet design.
Robert’s forte is Healthy Continental cooking with a flair for California-West Coast flavours. He is equally at ease preparing home style meals or gourmet feasts.
Robert is a skilled professional dedicated to providing the highest quality of service. He is discreet and confidential. His culinary skills, his reputation for flexibility, his calming influence and his natural ability for anticipating his client’s needs are qualities admired and sought after.
